HCG Diet-Week Six and Seven and Eight

By the end of week 7 I have lost 20.5 pounds on the HCG diet.  Jogging on the treadmill has become much easier. Imagine holding two 10 pound weights as you jog! The shots are suppose to be given for only 40 days but the doctor gave me 15 additional days so I could complete all my weight loss at once. I did the shots and the diet for 55 days. At the end of the 55 days I had achieved a 23 pound weight loss. During that time I traveled out of state staying in a hotel and managed to remain 100% compliant.

Now for the maintenance phase:

The next 21 days I am Not suppose to eat any sugars or starches. I can begin to add oil and fat back into my diet. But no more breadsticks at lunch and dinner. Weigh daily. Stay within 2 pounds of the achieved weight. No more, no less. If I go more that 2 pounds below, I am suppose to add more food to my diet. If I go more than two pounds above the achieved weight I am to have a steak and apple day. My habits seem changed. Food is not as important to me as it used to be. I don’t have cravings. All my clothes FIT and most of my pants are too big so I went to the local resale shop and got 3 pair of pants for about $5 each. I really don’t want to invest in new pants because I would like to drop 10 more pounds later…after I have maintained this weight for a time. I am back into my smaller ski outfit! Can’t wait to get back on the slopes.
